Tonya Gustafson

Tonya received her BA in Mass Communication, Public Relations Focus and Management Minor from Indiana University. She is a collaborative senior leader with extensive experience in communications, events, marketing, and branding. She possesses proven strengths in project management, strategic planning, and community relations, ensuring effective relationship-building and client engagement within dynamic design teams.

Throughout her career, Tonya has provided comprehensive communications services for both non-profit and for-profit organizations, developing key messages, social media campaigns, and branding strategies that enhance organizational awareness. Her expertise spans various industries, including non-profit, finance, and sports marketing.

As a skilled event planner and media relations coordinator, Tonya has managed high-profile events, including national conferences and community fundraisers, while cultivating strategic partnerships and coordinating large-scale media engagements. She has also served as a media spokesperson for one of Seattle's largest annual music festivals, adeptly handling crisis communications and media relations.

Tonya, along with her husband Peter and four children moved to Ennis in 2022. Tonya currently serves on the Ennis Community Children’s School Board, is serving as co-chair of the Friends of Ennis Schools, and is a member of the Ennis Lions Club and the Madison Valley Woman’s Club.
